CSPAN to Air 9/11 Panel Discussion

Cspan’s schedule now confirms that the L.A. panel discussion on 9/11 will be broadcast Saturday night at 8 p.m. EST. This is the main CSpan channel, not book tv or another, less-viewed, channel (even David Ray Griffin’s talk wasn’t broadcast on the main CSpan channel).
On the panel are Alex Jones, Steven Jones, Robert Bowman, James Fetzer and Webster Tarpley.

But at approximately 12:30 things took a surrealistic turn. (As if sitting in the evil corporate citadel of crypto-fascism was not surrealistic enough for me.) A meticulously dressed man arrived who immediately recognized Nicholas, and began handing out business cards identifying him as “Griffin Jenkins – Producer – The Tony Snow Show.”
I supposed “the Griff” (as he referred to himself) had not yet had a chance to get new business cards, considering that Tony Snow is now the White House Press Secretary, and “the Griff” should be out of a job.
“The Griff” appeared to take a special liking to us. In fact, the next hour was spent sitting in the green room and answering his interrogation….errrr……. friendly questions. He appeared very sincere and likeable, and also appeared to have an in-depth understanding of the material we were presenting, referring to Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer as “Tony” and Curt Weldon on a personal level, as he outlined his own relationships to these men. Nicholas Levis was in top form, making his usual eloquent and articulate case for 9/11 complicity, and “the Griff” appeared to be soaking it all up, with his unexplained sidekick, as the hours ticked by.

I suppose I could call Laura Ingraham a whore. Because that is in fact what she is. Think “Bill O’Reilly wannabe on psychotropic drugs.” There was not even a hint of fair play. She framed the interview by claiming the Chicago Conference was attended by an assortment of “conspiracy theory” loonies – including a man who lives in a cave. (I shit you not) When Nicholas objected, she became hostile and commenced projecting opinions onto him with questions like, “When did you stop beating your wife,” while repeatedly cutting off Nicholas’ responses, and providing him with the answers herself.

McGovern: Staged terror attacks across Europe, US “probable” in order to justify invasion
Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern recently appeared on Alex Jones’ radio show (audio):
Former CIA analyst and Presidential advisor Ray McGovern, fresh from his heated public confrontation with Donald Rumsfeld, fears that staged terror attacks across Europe and the US are probable in order to justify the Bush administration’s plan to launch a military strike against Iran, which he thinks will take place in June or July.

McGovern entertained the notion that western governments and intelligence hierarchies could potentially stage terror attacks in Europe and the US either before or after an invasion of Iran.
“That’s altogether possible,” said McGovern.
“I would say even probable because they need some proximate cause, some casus belli to justify really unleashing things on Iran….I would put very little past this crew – their record of dissembling and disingenuousness is unparalleled.”
McGovern said that Rove, Cheney and Rumsfeld, fearing impeachment and Enron-style criminal proceedings, are urging President Bush to launch a war in order to create a climate unconducive to lengthy investigations and impeachment proceedings.
Asked to cite specifically when we should expect to see an attack launched, McGovern said, “I think we all agree that an attack is likely before the election and we all agree that it has to do largely with the election – as for timing I see a likelihood that it could come as early as late June or early July, most of my colleagues predict August, September, maybe an October surprise even.”
“My thinking is that for it to be October that would be so crass and so transparent that even this crowd would shy away from making it so obvious,” said McGovern.
Zogby Poll: Over 70 Million American Adults Support New 9/11 Investigation
Big news today. Press release:

Our August 2004 Zogby poll of New Yorkers showed nearly half believe certain US officials ‘consciously’ allowed the attacks to happen and 66% want a fresh investigation, but these were people closest to the tragedy and most familiar with facts refuting the official account. This revelation that so many millions nationwide now also recognize a 9/11 cover up and the need for a new inquiry should be a wake up call for all 2006 political candidates hoping to turn this country around. We think it also indicates Americans are awakening to the larger pattern of deceit that led us into Constitutional twilight and endless war, and that our independent media may have finally come of age.”

Now, for the first time, the poll provides social proof that the 9/11 Commission covered up the true facts of 9/11, and that we need a new, impartial investigation. In other words, millions of Americans who would otherwise not even consider the evidence which contradicts the official version of 9/11 may now accept calls for a new investigation. If we use this correctly, we can go from facing an impossible task of overcoming resistance to 9/11 truth to having a majority of Americans demand a real investigation.
Therefore, virtually every press release or statement about 9/11 should include a reference to the poll to show people that many Americans are 9/11 truthers who scoff at the 9/11 Commission as a fraud and that demand a real 9/11 investigation.
This is leverage … use it.

Loose Change vs. United 93 on Google Trends
I tried a little Google Trends experiment and compared Loose Change (blue) to United 93 (red). Not bad! It’s really telling how much Loose Change has ramped up in the last few months. Note also the quick jump up and then sharp decline of United 93, while Loose Change is still trending upward.

Glenn Beck recently interviewed Dave vonKliest, producer of In Plane Site, on Headline News on CNN. They discussed very briefly the recent release of Pentagon footage as well as Area-51 and Elvis.

This is a smear attempt by Beck. His demeanor is one of total incredulity and attack, not journalistic detachment. Bravo to vonKleist for his composure and refusal to give in and provide alternative theories about what hit the Pentagon. Good thinking to hold up a photograph instead of relying on CNN to show it– MSNBC refused to show footage of WTC7 collapsing when Steven Jones spoke on “The Situation Room” (video).
I wonder if, at some point, all of these mainstream media folks decrying reasonable, cogent and articulate folks like Steven Jones and Dave vonKleist as lunatics will start to backfire?

Wash Rinse Reap T-Shirt
Just got my spiffy Wash/Rinse/Reap T-shirt from ScaryTruth.org. It’s a nice design, I just wish the image of the twin towers was a little clearer. As it is, I keep getting people asking me what it’s depicting. Still, it’s certainly the least shrill and best-designed 9/11 Truth T-shirt I’ve seen.

Loose Change 2nd Edition is #1 on Google Video
Despite it finding disfavor with many 911 Truthers, Loose Change, IMHO, is very effective at getting people to question the official stories. It’s been #1 on google video for a few days. w00t!
